Rights, Respect & Responsibility (3Rs) Training of Educators certifies participants to teach essential safety and healthy relationship concepts to middle & high school students. The curriculum is founded on the principles that youth have the right to accurate information, deserve respect, and share the responsibility for their sexual health. The 3Rs curriculum is a high-quality, evidence-informed sexual health education curriculum, developed by Advocates for Youth based on the National Sex Education Standards. Lessons have been reviewed, selected, and adapted by Amplify Youth Health Collective for use in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This training certifies educators to teach the Middle School Safety Series, the Middle School Healthy Relationship Series, the High School Safety Series, and the High School Healthy Relationship Series.
Upon registration, you will receive access to the Amplify Training Center. You will need to complete approximately 30 minutes of pre-work before attending the live training. You must submit a certificate of completion for the eLearning to scarter@amplifytulsa.org in order to attend the live training. Please note that you will need to print a copy of the curriculum to bring with you. Printable files will be provided upon registration. Attendees must complete the pre work and attend both days of the live training to become certified educators for 3Rs.

Sierra Carter joined Amplify in June 2023 as the Training Manager. For nearly 12 years, she worked in the Tulsa Health Department’s PREP program as an Adolescent Sexual Health Educator where she implemented various sex ed programs in Tulsa County school districts and youth-serving organizations. She also continues to serve as a nationally certified trainer for evidence-based intervention programs where she facilitates best practices in sex education and positive youth development. What fuels Sierra’s passion for adolescent health is the incredible people that she shares this work with in empowering young people to become the very best advocates for their themselves! She received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Health Promotion and maintains her credentials as a Certified Health Education Specialist.

Tammy Delocéano

Tomas “Tammy” Delocéano is a charismatic, neurodivergent Latinx artist and youth advocate who joined Amplify in 2020. For over a decade, Tammy has collaborated with young people to co-create award-winning, nationally recognized programs, including body-positive fashion clubs, empowerment spaces, summer camps, and Amplify’s Youth Leadership Council. As Amplify’s Training and Outreach Coordinator, they focus on building skills to engage and uplift youth. Drawing on their art background and a “Human Relations degree from the School of Life,” Tammy champions the power of representation and youth voice, infusing their activism and trainings with creativity, compassion, and a drive to dismantle adultism and body negativity.

Maggie Green

Maggie joined Amplify in June 2023 as a Community Engagement Fellow through the Tulsa Service Year program, before officially joining the team as a Training and Outreach Coordinator. They graduated from Tulane University in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies and an undergraduate certificate in Gender Based Violence. As a (mostly) lifelong Oklahoman, Maggie is excited to be back in their home state and hopes to work with the Amplify team and partners to make Oklahoma more welcoming and affirming for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. Outside of work, she enjoys baking new desserts, watching movies, and going to local bookstores despite having a to-read list that’s 150 books long!
